Baltimore CONNECT Day off in honor of MLK Day
On October 31, 1964, Baltimore had the honor of welcoming Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., as he sat in the back of an open car, warmly greeted by supporters eager to shake his hand. His presence brought hope, unity, and a renewed call for justice in our community.
Today, at Baltimore Connect, we honor Dr. King's enduring legacy and the dreams he nurtured right here in our city. To reflect on his impact and continue working toward equity and inclusion, we’re taking a day off to celebrate his vision.
