For every reported case of child abuse and neglect, two go unreported. During the pandemic, reports of child abuse and neglect decreased even further. In this training, we will define and identify the characteristics of child abuse and neglect and explore the impact of child maltreatment on children, families, and youth-serving systems. By the end of this training, participants will leave with a deeper understanding of child maltreatment and signs of abuse and neglect.
