“Healthy housing is integral to the overall health of families and communities, and to advancing racial equity. 

Green & Healthy Homes Initiative (GHHI) is partnering with ProMedica to improve the safety, health and efficiency of 1,000 homes in Baltimore, starting this summer. The project is part of a larger, $100 million GHHI-ProMedica initiative to provide home repairs and energy upgrades to low-income households in seven cities over the next three years. Baltimore will be the second city to participate, following the launch of the Detroit project earlier this month.

The partnership brings together and advances the missions of both organizations. GHHI develops innovative programs to promote healthy housing for all, and ProMedica is a national health organization investing strategically to scale social determinants of health work.

The ProMedica Foundation will hold a silent auction in support of the partnership and its Baltimore project on Thursday, June 9, 5-9 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium. 

Auction items include:

·         A signed Justin Tucker football

·         “A Day at the Races” courtesy of the Maryland Jockey Club”

All silent auction proceeds will benefit families of the GHHI ProMedica project!
