Living Classrooms is having a volunteer event this Friday, April 30th from 9 - 12 PM, and unfortunately a few of their volunteers dropped out last minute. They are requesting help in securing 2-3 additional volunteers.
"Join Living Classrooms on our dock as we prepare our fleet of education vessels for the upcoming summer season. We are excited to get our boats out on the water again and need 5 strong volunteers to work alongside our crew to assist with transporting seasonal cover frames to storage for the season.
Volunteers will meet at Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park in Fells Point (1417 Thames St), Baltimore to load wood frames onto small barges and will then take a 2-minute walk over to our East Harbor Campus to help unload the frames into storage. This volunteer activity requires bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects. Masks required."
