Green & Healthy Homes Initiative (GHHI) is recruiting qualified homeowners and renters for GHHI’s Electrification Pilot Program. The first meeting will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from 4:30pm – 6:30pm, which will consist of learning the process involving replacing equipment and appliances in the home that rely on gas with electric alternatives (such as furnaces, stove/ovens, and water heaters). Electrification can have a significant impact on reducing energy use, improving our health, and protecting the planet.

As part of GHHI's pilot program:

•              GHHI will conduct a comprehensive home assessment to determine changes needed to make the home "healthy". These services will be fully funded for those in the 21202, 21205, 21213, 21218, and 21224 zip coded areas.

•              Individuals will receive up to $750 for participating on a new Community Advisory Council, to share their perspectives and ideas with GHHI staff as they look to future collaborations in the East Baltimore area!
