National Conference & Webcast: Supporting Children and Families Following an Overdose Death

Roberta’s House is hosting a training with the National Alliance for Children’s Grief. 1 in 5 children newly bereaved by the death of a parent in 2020 experienced an accidental overdose death (Judi’s House, 2022). The impact of the opioid crisis continues to be prevalent in childhood bereavement. Now more than ever, we need to understand and know how to support children who are bereaved by an overdose death.
For this training, there will be nationally recognized speakers, What's Your Grief, who are experts in working with children and families following an overdose death. This opportunity is a simple and cost-efficient training to provide for your organization, staff, volunteers, or other professionals who work with children. This live event will better equip your team for speaking to and working with those who have experienced a loss due to an overdose.
